We took our new bocce balls out of the packaging and immediately noticed that they felt true to weight, and seemed very durable. But of course, first impressions don't mean much, and the only way to find out for sure is to try them out! So we did. We played bocce on 3 different surfaces: Grass, Beach, and Pavement. The balls have a nice feel to them and feature 4 different colors, allowing you to play with up to four people. The durability was surprisingly good for a set this price. Even on the pavement, the balls survived without any noticeble damage. This bocce set surprised us to say the least. If you're serious about the game of bocce, you would probably prefer to play with the Eddie Bauer Set. But if you're just a beginner or casual player, you'll enjoy the Economy Bocce set which will provide hours of entertainment.
